Who are we?

Kristi Ison is the creator of not only The Hoverfish infant float, but also the first US baby spa, Float Baby (as seen on Shark Tank!). She personally understands your excitement about opening a baby spa of your own. There are many things to know about safety, operations, marketing, supplies, equipment and more. This is why we now offer our extensive online training course for potential baby spa owners.

Our philosophy is to not only provide you with valuable information, but also to serve as your mentor throughout your construction, grand opening, and anytime afterward. Questions will arise and we are happy to assist. We want new baby spas around the world to use the safest practices, best equipment and offer the highest quality customer service so that we can all continue to serve the tiniest of clients in universal good standing.

Our Baby Spa Instructional Course* is conveniently made available to you via Skype. Please see an overview of the Course Outline below. The course is personally conducted by Kristi Ison and consists of 10 one hour sessions over a total of 10 business days. The cost is $7,000, plus 8.25% tax. Wire transfer is available, or Paypal which would be an additional 4.4% for Paypal fees. She is available to travel to your facility to oversee your soft or grand opening as an additional service and fee. During this time, she can provide recommendations, meet with your staff, run an example class, supervise your staff running class, assist in coordinating media coverage/interviews, and finalize any last minute safety or training items needed prior to your big day! Air and hotel accommodations, plus a $1200/day fee once onsite for consultation (9am-4pm). We have trained many other baby spas and they are very successful today. Please note: we do not provide Certification for Infant Massage Instruction but we will go over how to successfully implement it into your program.

*This course does not guarantee the success of your baby spa and is only intended to provide you with our recommendations based on our own business experiences. This course must be completed prior to the use of our Hoverfish. Training on use of the Hoverfish with Kristi Ison must be completed prior to placing the Hoverfish on any infant. Purchase or completion of this course does not guarantee you will be authorized to purchase the Hoverfish. Authorized Hoverfish for use baby spas will be determined on an individual basis. We reserve the right to terminate any relationship with an authorized baby spa, or an instructional course candidate, if at any time we are concerned about the spa owners capability for safety, competence in communicating with us, failure to complete their course prior to opening, or negligence in receiving their Hoverfish shipment. We do not accept responsibility for any spa owner who fails to complete our Hoverfish training prior to placement on an infant.
